Institute was founded by Galaxy Educational Trust and it spreads into about 20 kanals of campus with magnificent building, spacious grounds to provide various sports facilities in the lush green, peaceful and natural environment. The College is centrally located, conveniently approachable being approximately 5 km. from various parts of Jammu City and local facilities like Railway Station, Airport, Road Transport and Hospitals etc. The Galaxy College of Education is recognized by the J & K Govt. and affiliated to the University of Jammu which holds the B.Ed. examinations and awards the degree. The broad aim of the institute is to inculcate the values of humanism and socially justice, uphold the cherished goals of secularism and democracy, among the would be nation builders. The College is very well equipped with all facilities like teaching aids, library, hostels and indoor and outdoor sports. It has highly qualified, experienced and most dedicated faculty to impart effective training to the student of B.Ed. course. The College proudly claims to have completed Six B.Ed. sessions and the 7th session has already started to impart effective training to the students of B.Ed. course. The board aim of the institution is to inculcate in its pupil the value of humanism, social justice, secularism and democracy so that these could turn out be ideal teachers and be among the nation builders.
